City Coffee House and Creperie is one of the many STL restaurants jumping on the gluten free crepe bandwagon, and we have to say, it’s a good bandwagon to be on. This Clayton cafe serves a variety of salads, coffees, and breakfast foods, but they are most well know for their crepes! The thing that makes them special is that their organic buckwheat batter can replace EVERY regular crepe for just an extra $1 charge.

Rooster
Rooster is one of the many local St. Louis restaurants owned by David Bailey as part of all six of the Baileys’ sister restaurants. We discovered this restaurant on a hunt for gluten free crepes and were pleased with Rooster’s food as well as their environmental practices. This trendy café was very busy on the Sunday afternoon when we went and it was clear that many locals enjoyed the delicious brunch menu. We are definitely looking forward to dining at the rest of the Bailey restaurants and hope they are just as enjoyable!
