Revel Kitchens is a restaurant that has greatly expanded and succeeded, originally located in the revived Cherokee Street neighborhood, near our favorite I Scream Cakes and Whisks Bakery. They serve an enticing menu of delicious local menu items including egg dishes, sandwiches and salads. Their focus is on healthy and local food items. Their entire menu includes gluten free options, which is wonderful for those with gluten sensitivities. They are famous for providing healthy foods to fortify several famous Saint Louis professional athletes. They provide delivered meals, along with the food available at their 3 restaurants with small dining areas.

Since an original post written years ago, Revel Kitchen has expanded to include 3 locations in Saint Louis: Maplewood, Kirkwood and Brentwood no longer located on Cherokee. It is a regular reliable eatery that we continue to enjoy on a regular basis. Love their salads, smoothies and bowls and reliable clean, safe and delicious ingredients.

Quality: ★ ★ ★
They excel in their use of local, clean ingredients and products. They advertise trying to use as many organic ingredients as possible, along with sustainable sourcing of foods. We saw an extensive listing of locally sourced food items. In fairness, often local produce is organically grown, but they do not certify as organic due to costs, so this is possible.
We were told that they recently updated their vegetable oil to a high quality virgin olive oil. (Pictures are from their origianal restaurant)

The service is prompt and friendly. We frequent the Kirkwood and Brentwood locations.
Price: $$ The prices were reasonable for the quality of food, $10 or under for brunch items and $10-15 for lunch entrees.
